NYCC 2012: Robert Kirkman Announces Exclusive Skybound Goodies and Panel Schedule

Next month’s New York Comic Con lurches ever closer and Robert Kirkman and the folks at his Image imprint Skybound have plenty of treats ready for all the good and bad little boys and girls.

Tops on the list? Two limited edition hardcovers available for purchase at Skybound’s booth (#1229). The Walking Dead Hardcover Compendium (red foil version) is limited to 1500 copies and can be yours for just $100. The Thief of Thieves: volume #1 “I Quit” hardcover collection is even rarer, at 1000 copies. Before you lift one, be sure and leave them the $30 they’re asking.

This year Kirkman is also promoting The Walking Dead: The Road to Woodbury, his and Jay Bonansinga’s sequel to 2011’s The Rise of the Governor. You can pick up your copy of the prose novel and have it signed by the author throughout the big weekend (in advance of the book’s official pub date on the 16th).

October also sees the debut of The Walking Dead: The Official Magazine from Titan/Skybound. Out on the 23rd, it offers exclusive art, interviews and insights from Kirkman, Charlie Adlard and more.

Of course you can also pick up all kinds of Skybound books and merch and meet with the creative teams at the Skybound booth throughout the weekend. But Kirkman and company also have a jam-packed weekend of signings and panel discussions planned too.
