Action Comics looks damn good. The new Finch Batman seems interesting….def an audible.
I actually got a big week coming up this wednesday(or thursday). I got about seven solid pulls and I might possible get Echoes after a flip through at the LCS. My most anticipated are: Avengers 8, Widowmaker 2, and Flash 8.
At this moment I have no plans for New Year’s Eve.
Wow, crazy light week, I’m only picking up Heroic Age: X-Men, as for new years, just hanging out with my family, I’m not much for big exciting plans.
2 months into big time and there’s already a delay in Amazing Spider-Man. Also no Walking Dead this month apparently. Basically, what I’m trying to say is that I hate when comics are late.
Green Lantern #61 and Action Comics #896 for me this week. I’m surprised that Green Lantern is shipping two times this week. I’m interested in how Action Comics will be this week since it stars the Secret Six. I’ve heard a lot about their series and I’ve only ever read about them in Villains United. Maybe their appearance in Action Comics will make me read more about them in my own title.
Plans for New Years…I haven’t thought about it. “Planning more,” might be on my New Years resolutions lists.
16 books for the end of the year. Not bad

NYE – Recording a podcast about the film that makes destroys souls: JONAH HEX.
I think that a Wednesday new comic day in the northeast is looking highly dubious. Safer to bet on Thursday?
Decent week for me. Lookin forward to Detective, Flash, and GL.
BQ: My girl and her roomies are having a bash at their place. We’re swankin it up to give the illusion that we’re not poor and somewhere fancy (which it is not). Swank is optional of course.
Is Incognito Bad Influences #2 missing from the list?
10 books this week…everything from Hellboy to Carnage to Elephantmen. Good times.
BQ…well, since it will be my birthday (cheap pop), I’ll be celebrating with booze, friends and more booze.
New Year’s Eve is overhyped. I’m doing nothing and proud of it damnit!

Pretty light week for me Batman: The Dark Knight,The Flash,SHIELD,Superman/Batman,and Ultimate Comics Thor.

Incognito Bad Influences #2 but it’s not on the list. So much good stuff I’m pumped about lately.

You know, normally I’d say that I’ll probably head down to a pub with friends and get my drink on, but lately I started dating a mormon girl so I think this year might be interesting… and by interesting, I mean lame.

Light week for me. Sadly this is going to be the first issue of Green Lantern I won’t be buying since it started with Rebirth. I haven’t enjoyed it since Brightest Day started. Hopefully after it ends I’ll start reading the book again.
Should be a big week, consdering that it’s between Christmas and New Year…except I hear a vicious rumour that Marvel stuff won’t make it out to UK stores as the couriers aren’t delivering this week…still we do get Detective and Scalped, so it’s not all bad.
BQ: I shall be at work as the clock strikes twelve, which probably means I’ll be outside a pub stopping a fight, getting in the middle of a domestic dispute or trying to deal with the next party that’s spiralled out of control…peace and goodwill to all!

Astonishing Spider-Man and Wolverine, Detective Comics, and Nemesis. And I did spend some money over the holiday one of the next trades I’ll probably get is the One Month to Live HC.

If you were lucky to be the right part of the country you could get Incognito last week. Glad I can pick Incognito as my pick of the week if it warrants it.
We don’t do too much for New Years Eve. We’ll go out on the front porch, and watch the fireworks shoot off the Space Needle, then to bed. (Yup, that’s how exicting we are.)
Comics I’m looking forward to, as if you have to ask, TINY TITANS! Also, to be honest, Flash #8 has me interested.

Holy crap, you’re totally right I checked the solicits and it says Incognito comes out tomorrow. I buy my comics from my LCS called San diego Comix, and they gave me my copy of Incognito last week and I didnt even realize it was a week early. awesomeness
BQ: I’m old and in a long term relationship. yay! I gave up on NYE many years ago as a goin’ out night. The woman and I have a tradition of making fondue at home and drinkin’. We’re classy. 🙂
