You call these mutants merry. I call them a menace. There's a war on, a nice regular war with guns and exploding civilians and napalm. And they have to go and muss with it. Them and their furry blue feet and their devil tails. That one, the red one? He actually looks like the devil. Can we just send them on a one way trip to the moon? Stop wasting perfectly good dogs and chimps and just cram these mutants into a capsule, slingshot it straight to the moon!

Each trailer looks more and more like they’ve got just the right focus on this film.
Was that Banshee rising from the water, Phoenix-style? That was clearly an homage, right? Or am I crazy? Swapping one redhead for another, perhaps?
So are Xavier and Moira together in this?
Or is Moira robbing the cradle with the teen Banshee?
Banshee looks awesome! Love that they kept the ridiculous wings on the costume.
Really excited for this. I can’t decide between First Class & Green Lantern just which movie I am most excited to see this summer!
I’m more excited about this film than I was a minute and a half ago.
I guess it goes to show the more slipshod and out of control and rushed a project is the less chance a studio has to mess it up.
i’m getting tired of this whole ‘before he was… he was…’ crap, is it reeeally necessary? also, is having havok’s ‘blasts’ being visualised as red, done so to console people who were wanting to see cyclops in this movie? so glad they’ve got banshee in this, he’s always been one of may favourite characters! i don’t know anything about this character, but apparently he’s in the movie: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Darwin_%28comics%29

This looks increasingly good. It reminds of when a really clever writer is given a book or a character that is bogged down with insanely convoluted coninuity but somehow manages to work around it to produce a compelling story. I hope it’s good enough to guarantee an 80’s X-Men movie, complete with Punk Storm.
liking the look of this, having two good actors as the leads helps!
gotta say this is the only superhero movie coming out that i think could be quite good
