I was just thinking the other day, “when is the next issue of Jack Staff coming out?” as I hoped to god I didn’t miss it or something. As an answer to my prayer, Newsarama posted an update and interview with Jack Staff creator, Paul Grist.
As I’ve mentioned before, I’ve been a fan of Paul Grist’s since I randomly picked up Kane years ago. I was delighted to see Image pick up Jack Staff, but as almost any comic that we adore, its fell victim to being late and missing its schedule. But I’m not one of those crazy, schedule addicted fans. I’ll take it when I can get it, just as long as it comes out.

Ya know, I bought the first 2 of these, and I really wanted to like them, since I’m a big ‘ol brit-whore, but I couldn’t figure out what was going on at all.
From a design standpoint, and a great name, Jack Staff is it, but the book left me flat.
