‘Green Lantern: The Animated Series’ – S01E24 – “Scarred”

Green Lantern_The Animated Series_Scarred

Never trust anyone with scars. They are always evil.

Here’s how “Scarred” is described:

Back on Oa, the crew of The Interceptor follow a series of clues which span across the galaxy, uncovering information about the mysterious ‘Science Director,’ Aya’s secret origin and how to put a stop to her destruction.

I look forward to your thoughts, opinions, gripes, live-blogging, etc.

Comments

  1. I already miss Larfleeze.

  2. I was alittle disappointed with this episode. I was entertained til the end, but it seems like nothing was learned or accomplished after all was said and done. All that really happened was Aya’s backstory, but it was cool how Ion was thrown in there. Good story, lackluster ending.

    • Also, how great was LAMO-O, I mean LANO-O at the end? Im gonna miss him, he went out like a boss.

    • “You should get to a safe distance. I can take it from here.” I wasn’t expecting him to go out quite so heroically.

Before I figured out it was Ion, I thought the entity in the battery Scar was referring to was Parallax.

Also, the flying jellyfish dudes were a nice callback to the first half of the season.

    • I know those jelly-fish guys showed up earlier in the season, but I couldn’t remember when. So I just thought of them as the crazy, brainwashed aliens in “Mass Effect 2”.

  3. Anybody else notice the Book of the Black in the Guardian’s personal chamber? What I wouldn’t give to see that played out if the show wasn’t cancelled

  4. Scar. The Book of the Black. If Young Justice was heading towards Darkseid then this episode made it clear the series was heading towards Blackest Night and a streamlined, season-long, Green Lantern-centric Blackest Night is a story I very much would have like to have seen.

  5. This episode was great. Lots of great character moments from everyone, with a bit of humor and easter eggs mixed in. I’m going to miss this.

  6. WHY DOES THIS SHOW HAVE TO GO AWAY. Even my dad was like: This show has nice design.

Everything that should be Green Lantern that the comics TOTALLY miss the starship on.
