“Felicia” Makes Her Final Statement

This seems to be the biggest quiet rumble in comics I can think of. Over at Rich Johnston’s Lying in the Gutters, at Comic Book Resources, the internet gossip queen and unknown insider known as “Felicia” has posted a giant long and rambling diatribe about what she considers to be the future of Marvel Comics, were Bill Jemas to have his say.

I’m not sure, but I think she thinks he means to stop making comics altogether.

There are a lot of words in Felicia’s rant, and many, many of them make sense. However, we don’t know who she is, or what she wants, or really if she’s even a she. If not a fascinating look at the inner workings of comics, it’s a really interesting example of psychology, and why this is happening.

I do wonder why this isn’t really being reported on at the bigger news sites, and whether or not that makes this more or less valid.

I wonder if we’ll ever really know.

  1. Hey, not to say any of it is true, but i have heard as much from a close friend who works on one of Marvel’s books. Her ramblings aren’t widescale because they are not in Marvel’s interest nor in those who, pardon my expression, are on Marvel’s sack.

  2. Oh, I tend to believe her. For no other reason than because I’m a gossip addict.
