Last Night was an A1, tip-top, clubbing, jam fair. It was a sandwich of fun, on ecstasy bread, wrapped up in a big bag like disco fudge. It doesn’t get much better than that. I just wish that I could control these *fucking comic books!*

American Vampire Anthology #1
By Scott Snyder, Jeff Lemire, Greg Rucka, Gail Simone, Gabriel Ba, Fabio Moon, Becky Cloonan,
Rafael Albuquerque, Francesco Francavilla, & Declan Shalvey
It’s eight bucks. But look at those names. Scott Snyder went and got all his super talented friends together, and made some comics. That’s a party I want to go to.

Itty Bitty Hellboy #1
By Art Baltazar & Franco
An all-ages Hellboy book from the team that brought us Tiny Titans and the transcendent Superman Family Adventures? Where do I sign? Oh, I don’t have to sign? I just have to give you money from my https://www.paydaynow.net/payday-loan-consolidation/? Okay! Hellboy and his band of misfits are the perfect subjecs for Baltazr and Franco’s unique brand of humor and action. They thrive with big groups of characters bouncing off of each other in increasingly goofy ways and in increasingly goofy scenarios. This one’s a no-brainer.

Station to Station (One Shot)
By Corinna Bechko and Gabriel Hardman
Whether you missed this one in the pages of Dark Horse Presents or simply want it all in one place, consider this terrifying tale of kaiju terror in the Bay Area your final summer blockbuster of the season. Bechko and Hardman always deliver on a brand of science fiction both pulpy and substantive, so you’ll want to wrap your tentacles around this one before it slinks back into the abyss. The abyss being a longbox in some other lucky, discerning reader’s collection.
The American Vampire Anthology had to have been the easiest sell ever. Well, at least to me it was. “Hey Brian, want a comic with almost all if your favorite creators on it?” SOLD!
OF “almost all of your favorite creators …”
One day I’ll learn to proof better on mobile.
I’m reading American Vampire in trades and I’m 2 behind right now. Should I wait and pick up the Anthonlogy once I’m caught up?
I think you are safe checking this one out, as far as I know it’s just stories set in the AV universe, not in continuity stories.
I have been wanting to read Station to Station and I had no idea it was coming out this week.
This week is nothing like a light week for me but I am throwing this on the pile.
I want to read all of these. I trade wait on American Vampire but I may break that rule tomorrow. Is Station to Station a one shot?
Never mind I can read now that I’m fully awake.
My god, who WOULDN’T want that AV Anthology?! Looks fucking INCREDIBLE!
That Hellboy book looks pretty cute. Might just grab that.
