2012 is off to a great start for independent books, with one of the hottest being the self published mini-series Sacrifice, from writer Sam Humphries and artist Dalton Rose. Issue #1 of Sacrifice sold out it’s initial print run, and the demand for issue #2 is just as great. If you missed Sacrifice #1, fear not, you can read it on Graphicly. Issue #2 is set to hit select stores this Wednesday and will be available for mailorder from TFAW as well as digitally on Graphicly.

I enjoyed issue #1 quite a bit and will get issue #2. I have to go a bit out of my way to pick it up at a comic shop I hardly go to, but it’s definitely worth the trip.
I haven’t read #1 yet, but I’ve been meaning to. What exactly does if have to do with Joy Division? Being a huge fan it makes me even more curious about trying this out.
