EXCLUSIVE PREVIEW: Mice Templar Volume. 2.2: Destiny Part Two

It's been a good year for the guys behind the Mice Templar series from Image Comics.  Writers Bryan J.L. Glass, Michael Avon Oeming and artist Victor Santos have enjoyed not only critical praise, but also won a Harvey Award recently awarded at the Baltimore Comic-Con.

This week, the latest volume of The Mice Templar hits comic book stores in hardcover.  The Mice Templar Volume 2.2: Destiny Part Two clocks in at 200 pages, in full color rodent fantasy action.  This volume finds the young mouse Karic prepaing himself for a confrontation with the Snake God of the Druids, in hopes of finding salvation for himself, his family and all the mic in the land.  But a ton of obstacles stand in his way, including the mad King Icarus as well as…wait for it…a zombie cat!

This hardcover collection collects issues #6 through #9 of the ongoing The Mice Templar: Destiny series and for those who enjoy anthropromorphic fantasy stories, then this a must read.  Look for it on shelves this week, or you can order it from Amazon as well. If you're not sure if The Mice Templar is for you, Image Comics was nice enough to provide the first 20 pages of the hardcover for the iFanboy crowd to sample and take a look at.  You can see the pages below.

  1. Looks like a cool book, how many pages are per issue (200 pages across 4 issues, how much bonus material is in the HC)?
