BREAKING: NYCC: Kieron Gillen Reveals Secret Plot to Never-Before-Seen S.W.O.R.D. #6

At a signing at the Graphic.ly booth at New York Comic Con yesterday, spectacled writer Kieron Gillen composed this narrative image revealing the secret plot to Marvel's S.W.O.R.D. #6. Thought lost to the ages upon the series' cancellation at five issues, this moment of cobalt lust and ennui stands revealed in a shoddy scan from my spiral-bound sketchbook. I share it with you today:

You will note that Hank McCoy's mutation has advanced exponentially, his snoot having reached gnu-like proportions. Agent Brand is perhaps the coldest, most abrasive Twi'lek in the Marvel U.

I genuinely cherish this. Thanks again to Kieron for hanging out with us at the booth.

Comments

  1. I’ve never identified more with Beast than this very moment; and I am a pheline with whiskers.

  2. BRILLIANT!

  3. So in Gillen’s mind, Beast wears a muumuu, albeit a comfortable looking muumuu. Got it.

  4. Ha!

  5. This was one of my favorite moments of the con!

  6. Heh beasts blue balls
