BOOM Covers Sam Humphries – Fanboys Vs. Zombies #5 & Higher Earth #4

You couldn’t ask for more of a range in genre than the books Sam Humphries has been writing at BOOM! Studios lately.  Ranging from mind bending science fiction in Higher Earth to tongue in cheek comedic parody with Fanboys Vs. Zombies.   Today, BOOM! Studios gave use the exclusive peek at the covers they’ve got lined up come this August.

First up is Fanboys Vs. Zombies #5 covers by Eddie Nunez, Khary Randolph, and Roger Langridge.  Following that is the covers for Higher Earth #4, one of which by the always praised Phil Noto.

    I got Higher Earth 1 digital because:
    1. it was a dollars
    2. I’m hoping Ultimates stays strong under Humphries.

    I didn’t really like Higher Earth but with more content I might have so I’m still on the fence about the Hickman leaving Ultimates. Hopefully he get’s the reigns of Avengers though 🙂

    As for Higher Earth, if the price is right I’ll give book 2 a shot. The ending to one was interesting enough but not the hook that’ll keep me coming back if the book is $3.99.
