BOOM! Behind the Scenes: HIGHER EARTH #6 Process Pages

BOOM! Studios once again invites us behind their magic wizard curtains to show us how comics get made. Up today is Higher Earth #6, out in stores today as well. 

Check out these pages written by Sam Humphries, drawn by Francesco Biagini, and colors by Andrew Crossley. Pay particular attention to the lighting effects added that didn’t exist on the inked pages. That’s something, when used tastefully that didn’t really take off in comics until digital coloring became widespread. I still find it fascinating that we can fake light on a printed page. Provided it’s not overdone, obviously.
