AVENGERS Fan Trailer is Tons of Fun

Yes, yes, it's fairly elementary and obvious to combine footage from Iron Man (and 2), Incredible Hulk, the Thor trailers, and the Captain America: The First Avenger teaser to make an Avengers fan trailer. Sure, I get that, intellectually. But emotionally? I'm psyched.

Is it May 2012 yet?

Comments

  1. My friends know me as the Comic-guy, and the Whedon fan. One said they expect this film to come with a personal dedication to me. To be honest just being able to see it is likely to make my jaw dropped.

Where is the Nick Fury “earth’s mightst heroes” line from…has that been in the movies yet?

  2. that was, as they say in Boston, ” WICKED! “

  3. When the text flashed, “From the director of Serenity”, I initially thought it said, “And featuring The Sentry!” Ha.

  4. I am with conor on this one.  Seeing all of those clips together really makes my mind go into overdrive thinking about what we could see. So cool man!

  5. @zeppo it’s not from a movie (yet,) but from the Avengers logo reveal at Comic-con:

(I can’t check the audio on that link right now, but that should be it.)

  6. I wet myself.

  7. Indescribable excitement …

  8. That was pretty cool.  If I’m not mistaken that was the same music from the X-Men: First Class trailer.  It’s a crazy good tune.

  9. I was kinda hoping that they would have thrown in some Jeremy Renner footage. That would have been cool.

  10. when will someone combine the Van Damme street fighter with this to make a fan trailer for Capcom vs Marvel.

  11. And then Matt Salinger shows up as William Burnside and gets his ass handed to him.
Someone had a made a lower quality version of a new avengers trailer. That was a bit of alright.

  12. Dude…

  13. @Goaduk  hopefully NEVER. Seriously EVEN Van Damme denounced the movie as “crap”.

  14. nicely done!

  15. If this were the real trailer I would still love it–even if the real 1st trailer were entirely composed of clips from these movies just like this I would love it. Awesome how it already feels like a shared universe and this trailer hits that point home perfectly (the music is also epic as all hell)

  16. @Mangaman  you know you want it!

  17. Good work.

And thank you for not using the “Requiem for a Dream” soundtrack.
