August 30, 2013 2:20 pm Interesting choice- there are a lot of panels you could have went with for Deadpool #15.
August 29, 2013 1:58 pm To be honest, I read like 4 titles. I'm glad someone chose Deadpool, though. In many ways it's an unappreciated series, critically.
August 29, 2013 4:29 am This is true, but they have to spread the love a bit. Deadpool #13 was POW not too long ago.
August 27, 2013 6:38 am All I have to say is: FINALLY.
August 27, 2013 12:47 am Deadpool #15- I've been waiting for this one for a while. The preview alone was gold on so many levels. Flash #23- Am I the only one who thinks this book has been dragging a bit? Ironic, no? If this issue doesn't show me something, it's dropped like a rock. Larfleeze #3- You are either loving this book or hating it. I'm loving it. Some people have been complaining about the art, but I personally don't see what's wrong with it. They do realize Larfleeze is supposed to be kind of ugly, don't they?
August 27, 2013 12:38 am Honestly, in some ways this comic feels very Silver Age. Apart from the protagonist, that is. Needless to say, I'm on board.
August 27, 2013 12:18 am It's been awhile since I've looked forward to a single Deadpool issue like this!
August 19, 2013 12:42 am Or so Batman thought. And even if he truly was deteriorating then there would be times of remission. These kinds of things rarely flow in a neat, straight line. You think too linearly, too rigidly and that will certainly cloud your ability to allow for chaos. On the writing side it was probably deliberate and used to bring home his instability- a physical example of this is when he lost cohesion and turned into a puddle the first time. That probably wasn't intentional on his part. I also don't find the show to be inconsistent in any tangible way. You may feel that way to reconcile the elements of the show you do like with the elements of the show you don't like, for whatever reason.
August 18, 2013 3:26 am Being unstable means being in flux, does it not? Ups and downs are to be expected. He was also on Brave and the Bold, but it was a pretty different take and I'm not sure if they ever gave his origins so I could have misspoke. But it's pretty clear that someone, somewhere likes Metamorpho, and in fairness he does have a pretty decent origins story as those things go. His power is also pretty cool, if a bit hard to write for without a solid understanding of chemistry. I mean, I have nothing against Metamorpho. I just think they could have shaken things up a little.
August 17, 2013 9:04 pm It makes more sense than you think. As he stabilized it obviously became easier to speak. I also think this suffered a bit because it was like the third or fourth time I've seen Metamorpho's origins in an animated series.
