Comments

  1. That Hellboy is quite impressive.

  2. Hellboy is one hell of a piece of artwork!! I like its raw feeling with just certain lines and to me it feels like it was done in charcoal on a black back ground. Kudos to Watts, that is some great artwork!!

    K

  3. white violin’s costume….. that is one awkwardly placed bridge.

  4. Bilbo looks like a little person Cable.

  5. That Kamandi piece? Whoa! Very, very kinetic!

  6. Why is Simonson not doing an actually good adaptation of The Hobbit right now?!?!

  7. I want that Sherlock one as a poster.

  8. I would read the Hell out of a Captain marvel: Shark Wrangler comic

  9. Really wish Phil Noto’s books were easier to get a hold of. Such gorgeous artwork.

    • Check out the FF arc on X-23 (I think issues 13-16) and Angel & Faith #5 (this issue is a single issue story so you don’t really have to read the previous issues really) for some of his most rescent work

    • I remembered after I posted that X-23 #20 also has art by Noto and is kind self-contained. It helps if you’ve been reading X-23 or X-books in general, but it’s not part of an arc and can easily be understood on its own.

  10. Lovely blood splatter in the Staples piece. She never ceases to impress me with her colors.

  11. The Spartacus piece if amazing. Pick of the pick of the week for me

  12. “Under my tutelage, you will grow from boys to men. From men into gladiators. And from gladiators into Swansons.”

  13. Dear DC, here is all my money. Captain Marvel, Shark Wrangler. You know what to do.

  14. Fiona Staples needs more work pronto. That piece might just have convinced to buy Saga in issues instead of trade waiting.

  15. I would happily kill all of you for a Hobbit and/or Lord of the Rings comic adaptation by Walter Simonson.

  16. I really miss Sherlock. The 2nd series needs to air RIGHT NOW!

  17. I got the Swanson picture straight away, Swanson rules, love it!
