Great Moments in Comics History: Marvel Team-Up #22

What is the correct use for that arrow, under normal circumstances? “Cap is falling! Quick, aim for the fleshy part of the thigh and hope for the best!”

Where’s the irony or creepy sexual inuendo?
    This is no GMICH.

  2. Was there ever a more ridiculous title than Marvel team-Up?

  3. Smasher Smasher says:

I’m guessing this is before Hawkeye’s stint as Goliath because one would think he wouldn’t have this issue (parachute arrow taking up too much room in his quiver) with access to Pym particles.

  4. daccampo daccampo says:

hahaha… oh man, Jim. I don’t think I would’ve even thought about that too much, but now I can’t stop. The parachute ejects from the TIP of the arrow. So you can’t even lodge it IN something. IT would have to come out of the other end of, say, Cap’s thigh and then eject… and all that would do would just rip the arrow clean through this thigh…

    The mind boggles.

Say what you will about the ridiculousness of the parachute-arrow, but I must point out that Hawkeye has enough hand/forearm strength to defy physics with how he’s holding it. That’s pretty impressive.

    • WOW. Congrats on THAT pick up! Good eye! That just made my day lol.

    • Peteparker Peteparker says:

That’s the first thing I noticed too. He’s so strong he can hold himself up on absolutely nothing!

The parachute is actually not taking any of the load off of his fall whatsoever.

Now THAT is a strong human (since he has no powers).

Where the fuck was this arrow during Avengers: Dissembled ?

  7. player1 player1 says:

Marvel Two-in-One was also a great title for Bronze Age buddy comics.
