Never one to phone it in, I think it’s safe to say that novelist China Mieville has taken the Dial H for Hero concept to its Weirdest frontiers yet. Intrepid schlub Nelson Jent has witnessed a lot this year, dialing in a host of new hero identities like Boy Chimney and Iron Snail, and he’s even encountered other Dialers and an otherworldly enemy called the Abyss. Never rote but always rotary, it’s one of the most imaginative new titles in the New 52, and this week it goes positively cosmic. DC Comics was nice enough to share a sneak peek at this week’s Dial H #4.
