Name: Zakary Caldwell

Bio: Reading comics since I was 11.  Dropped out when i went to college.  The first issue I ever bought was Spider-Man 53.  Smack dab in the middle of the Clone Saga.  Stopped in 02'. Started again right before Civil War (I have really good timing).  I didnt mind it much.  I read mostly marvel stuff.   Some of my favorites are:Spider-Man, Entire Ultimate Line (except for Fantastic Four) in trades, All of Bendis' Avenger stuff, Avenger's The Initiative, Runaways (in trades), The Walkind Dead (in trades),  Y the Last Man (in trades), and the current Millar run on Wolverine.

September 1, 2010 12:37 pm this is the best bargain Marvel has other than the essentials trades.  These are the thickest trades i have seen.  They are packed with issues.  I think it is def. worth the money.  I get mine through mailordercomics.com and they always are 40% off of cover price.
August 31, 2010 1:40 pm vol 4 will have maximum clonage and 5 will have the lead up to the scarlet spider switch-over.  i have all of these in issues but havnt read them in years.  it has been really fun to go back and read these.
August 30, 2010 7:10 pm i think it will end up being about 10 vol.  if they do the whole thing.  that's commitment.  I am glad they are putting these out.
July 31, 2010 10:45 pm i just got done reading the seagle alpha flight run, about 8 months ago and it stood the test of time.  Still a great run!!
July 30, 2010 6:13 pm I loved the Alpha Flight Series by Seagle.  I thought that was a great run of books.  One of the only really good runs to come out of the late 90's for marvel.  That and the Joe Casey Cable run are just fantastic.
May 7, 2010 12:57 pm It is really good.  But i think that the Casey/Ladronn run back in the late 90's was the best cable ever.  I think it is issues 51-70.  So stinking good.
March 30, 2010 12:02 am if you skip the caption boxes, these issues are pretty decent.  i just recently re-read all my issues and it was better than i remember.  once you get over the negative stigma of the "clone saga" and just read the books, you can enjoy them.
March 23, 2010 3:44 pm yeah. marvel has been doing that a lot with their mid 90's trades.  all of the cable, deadpool, x-men, etc, have been that expensive.  the exception is the clone saga trade.  that has like 15 issues or something like that.  i get a 40% discount so it doesnt really hurt my pocket.  but i would never pay full price for any trade anyway.
March 22, 2010 2:49 pm I am a sucker for mid 90's x-men.  the onsluaght saga was my favorite crossover of all time.  that was before i realized that when charecters dies, that they almost always come back.  but it was awesome anyway.
February 15, 2010 8:34 pm didn't this start like two years ago.  was it any good?
