December 12, 2012 – Conan the Barbarian #11
December 15, 2012 3:31 am I've been loving Brian Wood's run on Conan the Barbarian but was wondering what purpose the old manual typewriter font in the narrative boxes served. Is that a reference to older Conan that I haven't read? Is it supposed to conjure up a sense that this is all being taken from some original text? Or is it meant to do something new?

DC Histories: Huntress (Helena Wayne / Helena Bertinelli)
November 8, 2012 4:10 am Really love the DC Histories feature of iFanboy. Just got back into comics five years ago after a 20 year hiatus and these character breakdowns answer a lot of questions that have been sitting on the back burner. REALLY well written in my humble opinion.

New DC Comics Logo: Confirmed and Now In Multiple Thematic Colors! (UPDATE)
January 19, 2012 11:43 am I understand how this new logo can serve as a connecting point between DC's various properties, but I don't quite understand John Rood's comparison/contrast between DC and Vertigo as an explanation. Why did he single out that one aspect? Does this mean that future Vertigo projects are going to bear the DC stamp more overtly? Is it really a distinguishing factor that DC superheroes have secret identities and Vertigo comics are about good vs. evil? Haven't the protagonists of American Vampire, iZombie, and Unwritten tried to keep their identities secret at times? Is Scalped really about good vs. evil? Does Jonah Hex have a secret identity? Is secret identity a euphemism for costumed heroes? I have no complaints about the logos but I'm curious about the explanation.
