May 10, 2011 9:10 am Thought it served as a great introduction to a character that the general public knows of, but doesn't know about. Didn't really enjoy the way he was portrayed in the beginning, acting more like hercules than Thor, but I think it was necessary to see his progression from the way he was at the beginning, to the Thor we all know and love at the end of the film.
