October 10, 2012 1:18 pm Pacific Comics’ Twisted Tales did it for me. Hands down the best set of comics i have ever read and most likely, ever will. Of the 10 issue series, #3 was my favorite and my favorite story was "Me and Ol’ Rex" by Rich Corben. You had an ensemble of: Rich Corben, Bernie Wrightson, Bruce Jones, John Bolton, to name a few. It's sister series, Alien Worlds was a good second.

October 2, 2012 3:27 pm I need to see these stories get better before i invest in these books anymore. Three star new stuff mixed with old reprints doesn't cut it for me. Horror is what put comic books on the map so step it up, CREEPY!

October 2, 2012 3:16 pm YES! The square eggs story in the Donald Duck book emphasizes your point. Haven't gotten around to reading the Scrooge book just yet...waiting for my youngest son to finish it.
