October 17, 2012 6:53 pm I think the writer makes it pretty clear that it isn't the theory itself which he finds offensive, but the way it is presented. I would allign myself with Murphy philosophically, but I too thought that the education sections were clunky. The examples chosen were fairly obvious and clichéd. What started as a nuanced and complicated examination of religion quickly turned polemical, and obviously so. I think, though, that this is a matter of space. This just isn't a 6-issue mini. The first two issues have a nice, dense plotting, but then the last two have had to fly forward. At 12 issues, that education section could have been spread out and it wouldn't have felt so one-dimensional. Still, as the original reviewer stated, this isn't enough to overshadow the series. It still rules.

July 19, 2012 8:44 pm If you read the issues consecutively, it plays much better. This issue really works to tie everything up beautifully and set up the next arc. Sure, it forces you to work, and you might actually have to pull out past issues, but they all flow together really well. If you haven't read issue 6 for half a year, you will probably be confused. Pull out the back issues, lazy bones.
