July 11, 2012 7:26 pm I was going to drop this after issue 12 because I was sick of it going from one place to another but now that it's focused back on Kitty Pride and the main X-men I'm back on board.
June 20, 2012 9:40 am One of my favorite heroes is Beast Boy and I feel that he is overlooked a lot. And when DC finally puts him in the New 52 he's red. I miss the old Beast Boy so much. And I also miss the old Teen Titans.
June 18, 2012 9:53 pm Reading this article makes me sad because I really miss the Runaways. I really wish Marvel would bring them back. It was one of the best series I've ever read. Period. I have lost a lot of faith in Marvel and this is one reason why. They cancel good series just because the sales arent what they want them to be. I really think if they got Christos Gage on a Runaways series it would work. He's done great on Avengers Academy and I fear that will be cancelled next.
June 11, 2012 9:29 pm Luckily I don't read any of these books. I stopped Voodoo at issue 7. Tried Resurection Man but didn't really like it. And never even tried Captain Atom.
June 8, 2012 2:31 pm It sounds like a copy of the Ravagers.
June 8, 2012 1:49 pm Darn. I was hoping for Doom Patrol to be in the third wave.
June 7, 2012 10:18 pm Like I said above it doesn't bother me that Allen Scott is gay but it bothers me that it was done for PR. At least that's how I feel. Same with Avengers Academy. I feel Christos Gage did it because the whole LGBT thing is front and center today. I understand trying to put more diversity in comics but I feel Marvel and DC have gone too far. Again I am not against diversity in comics.
June 6, 2012 9:56 pm There are WAY too many Bat books. How about an Outsiders book without Batman?
June 6, 2012 9:46 pm What really bothers me is taking straight characters and making them gay just for PR. I read in Avengers Academy 31's letter page that a man gave his 7 year old daughter some All-Ages Power Pack miniseries and her favorite hero was Julie Power/Lightspeed so one day she Googled Lightspeed and found the word "bisexual" and asked her father what that word meant. I have no problem with diversity in comics, I just don't like the Northstar wedding and Allan Scott stunt because I feel it was for PR only and nothing else. I also feel that Christos Gage should've been more careful with the Julie Power/ Stryker coming out. It really felt forced.
