September 24, 2012 1:30 pm I'll try out any 2.99 books that catch my attention. Is Morbius going to be 2.99? Always had a soft spot for him, and besides, I'll be shocked if it lasts more than 10 issues. Thunderbolts is $2.99, right? That too then, even though I'm not sure about this new team. But I agree, it looks like a jumping off point. I am also running into space and money issues, so thanks Marvel!
September 17, 2012 2:19 pm Maybe I'm speaking from a "posterior location" here, but I think the reason people say "Jean Grey always come back" is how many times we've seen it happen in alternate universes, What If stories, cartoons and movies. It makes it feel like a lot more. Personally, I always thought Jean was duller than anyone, and killing her elicited barely a shrug from me.
August 2, 2012 6:31 pm Ok, I'll say it. I know they weren't in the original, but since they're from a similar dystopia, oh please no Bishop or Cable. I just...I just don't want to explain them when non comics fans ask me. And they do ask me, and usually I'm happy to explain, and often with too much profanity. But please, not Cable. He's just too much. Bishop, I just dislike.
July 25, 2012 3:59 pm The one-shot wasn't too bad. I don't want to give out any spoilers, but it was definitely more readable than the Nocenti series or the Teen Titan appearances.
July 16, 2012 7:45 pm Thank you. I felt like the movie dragged when Peter was out of costume. Also, did he need to have his mask off so much?
July 16, 2012 7:44 pm I agree, this was less Peter Parker and more Rain Man.
June 11, 2012 3:14 pm I'm losing two books here. I'm not too sad either. JLI was good, but I don't like that they've taken half the team out of commission (and they killed Rocket Red, who I was starting to like). Resurrection Man was so much better in the first volume, and I just cannot fathom why this one is so subpar.
May 19, 2012 10:20 am What about Thanos' solo series, that only lasted 12 issues, but produced some great moments in badassery? A reprint of that is likely coming...
