August 24, 2013 9:45 pm @webhead921: No, no he was not tough in The Town. He was average which was a step up for him. Lorenzo Lamas in a male hair product commercial was tougher then Affleck in The Town.
August 24, 2013 9:36 pm Hollywood Reporter has said Affleck is actually signed for a multiple picture role as Batman. Like him or not, Affleck is Batman for the next couple movies. However many that may be. http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/heat-vision/why-ben-affleck-said-yes-613658
August 23, 2013 10:36 pm O Canada! I wonder who are going to be the Canadian heroes joining them?
August 23, 2013 10:20 pm James Bond's pistol of choice was a Walther PPK, not a PP7. "The most common variant is the Walther PPK, the Polizeipistole Kriminalmodell (Police Pistol Detective Model), indicating it was more concealable than the original PP and hence better suited to plainclothes or undercover work." http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Walther_PP It was called a PP7 in the video game erroneously. "Most of the game's firearms are modelled on real-life counterparts (although their names are altered)," http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/GoldenEye_007_(1997_video_game)
August 23, 2013 10:09 pm Not seeing it. Clint Eastwood is way tougher at 100 years old then Ben is at any age.
August 23, 2013 8:35 pm Same here re: Affleck. Even if he is a good actor (not) and manages to be intimidating as Batman all I'll be able to think of is : "Look at Affleck trying to be tough, a-ha-ha!"
August 23, 2013 8:17 pm He doesn't act or look tough enough to be Batman. And if you think he can be tough enough because Michael Keaton was, think again. Keaton only had to compete against Adam West's Batman and everyone was just happy it wasn't that version. (Thank you, Tim Burton, for that much).
August 21, 2013 3:40 am I noticed when the Watchmen and The Dark Knight Returns came out it was us kids who ate it up. And then later with The Crow, and Sin City. Now, I prefer the series both Big 2 put out based on their cartoons. Sort of an inverted maturity scale.
August 21, 2013 3:25 am Go watch an episode of Teen Titans Go. I wish the comic book was more like the show.
