I still can’t read a Batman comic without hearing the theme to the animated series play in my head. Not…

May 20, 2011 8:46 pm @ScorpionMasada  Last I checked, posting videos in comment sections isn't a very good reviewing practice. Did you not notice the video? I'm pretty sure you had to sroll past it to get to the comment section.
May 20, 2011 12:11 pm @Zeppo  That quote is perfect. I love it. The hilarity of it made me forget for a few moments how sad the situation really is.
May 10, 2011 12:35 pm @KickAss  Those extra pages you're referring to are dedicated to rather mediocre back-ups. I don't see how that has anything to do with doing "the FF concept justice". It just seems to me like Marvel's attempt to justify the $3.99 price tag.

Back on topic. If I am whining, it's with good reason. This is Spider-Man's book, not the Future Foundation's, but you'd be forgiven for not realizing that by reading the comic. When a character is a guest star in his own book, that's a problem. And it's not that I hated the last two issues or anything, but if I'm buying a book to read about the character it's supposed to be focusing on, only to find out he's merely guest starring in it, I think I'm justified in being a bit upset. Especially when said book is named after that character.
May 9, 2011 4:04 pm Wasn't expecting another issue so soon, so it was a nice surprise to see this among the list of new comics. Really looking forward to this. Hickman and Epting are doing a fantastic job.
May 9, 2011 3:56 pm Kind of a slow week for me, so I'll pick this up. I loved the first volume when it was just Oracle and Canary, but I lost interest when they started adding a bunch of other characters to the main roster and haven't read it since. Kind of excited to pick it up again.
May 9, 2011 3:48 pm I loved Arkham Asylum, but I'm always nervous about "bridge the gap" stories. I'll give the first issue a shot and see how it goes, though.
May 9, 2011 3:45 pm We're done with the Future Foundation after this, right? I want my Spider-Man comics to be about Spider-Man again. Is that too much to ask?
May 9, 2011 12:23 am @Franktiger  I agree with the uncreative nature of the quoted dialogue, but I don't expect perfection from writers and that was the only thing that stuck out to me. Everything else flowed really well for me. I liked it.
May 3, 2011 12:36 am Wasn't expecting to get excited about a Deadpool comic any time soon, but here I am. Part one of Identity Wars was surprisingly great. Hopefully that trend continues.
May 3, 2011 12:33 am Must be a slow month for super villainy in Beyond's world. This series was just barely holding my interest as it was. Time to abandon ship.
