June 22, 2012 10:49 am Gabriel Hardman, like Chris Samnee for me, could draw all of comics and I'd be fine with that. I love everything they both do. That Judge Dredd and Captain America page is also great!
June 20, 2012 10:11 am As you can tell by my avatar I loved the Silver Surfer growing up (still do. He's one of my favorite characters in all of comics, not just Marvel and DC). I grew up with a fascination in Astronomy and Cosmology and a character that could "surf" the cosmic winds and visit distant galaxies was right up my alley. During his run in the 90s I loved the high concept of each adventure. There was nothing like it happening back on Earth with the main cast of heroes and it definitely stood out in my mind. Alas he couldn't hold a ongoing series now if he tried, but he got shine in Annihilation a couple years ago, the Annihilators mini-series, and now back with the Defenders. So I guess I can be happy he's back in the spotlight.....somewhat (I do NOT count the second Fantastic Four movie).
November 16, 2008 6:07 pm Thanks for answering my question Ron; Seems my faceoff between Thanos and Darkseid has raised some good points between both sides.  However I always felt that Thanos and Darkseid (without any weapons or world changing items or anti-life) were about even.  The power cosmic and omega beams in my opinion would cancel out, since they both can harness their respective power flawlessly and rearrange molecules, project concussive force, and transmutate, etc.  I don't see why people seem to think just because Thanos (who I must admit I like more than Darkseid) has feelings for Death is weaker because of that.  Think of the raw power and cunning intellect he has; now consider that he's willing to do anything with that power to please someone; that's incredibly evil and ruthless in my book....

To add onto TheNextChampion, the Silver Surfer joined back with Galactus during Annihilation, just like you said.  He did it because of the danger Galactus faced by Annihilus and sought to protect him and preserve Galactus's role as a necessary equity in the universe.  Freeing Galactus at the end of Annihilation, he decides to stay with him.

I hope that helps.
