I am consistently amazed at how well this book is written. Not only is it incredibly interesting, it is deeply involved the Iron Man history when Rhodey was the most active.

It has Ultimo as a villain, which the last time I remember him being around was issue 290? I think. Right before the IM cartoon and Teen Tony. he might have shown up during Busiek's run on the title with Sean Chen, but I'm not certain. It's a giant robot with a name straight from the 50s and Pak makes him seem more intimidating than any other conventional Iron Man villain. Of course when a catagory has The Melter and Whiplash in it, you don't really have to swing for the fences.

Regardless, this is a very action packed and fun book.

I love how American Eagle has been written lately and it seems he's only going to get a stronger showing as time goes on. I was a little disappointed with the art. It didn't really seem to work for me.

That is the weak spot of this book, no consistent artist. I know it's not a prestige book, and it is a few years before we'll even hear a rumor of a WM movie, but it is incredibly good and should be given a shot.
