GREAT COVER
I had been looking forward to reading this issue, my very first Red Robin. I was excited because the suit looks amazing and all the covers I’ve seen so far are spectacular. I thought “Cool! Now we get to see a grown up version of Robin. This should be awesome!” But I’m sad to say it felt just like the same old Robin.

Tim Drake is still a teen super hero. It’s great that now he seems to be a lot more responsible regarding his actions and decisions, but it’s still the same old Tim. Beyond this fact the issue is not a bad one. The art is a bit too cartoonish for my liking, but it works and has some pretty cool scenes in here. The absolute BEST thing about this comic book is the voice over. It works fantastic and it’s actually what keeps you hooked throughout the whole story.

I’m new to Red Robin but, even though I didn’t think it was bad, I don’t hink I’ll be returning to this book in a while.
