Bullet Point Review
1. This book narrative viewpoint for the reader by introducing a new character, Scoop, who is a freelance Private Investigator and on a short list of people used by General Hawk. I am liking that but am expecting big things considering how much this team made me love Chuckles.
2. This book is also the first mention of Coil. An organization (cult) that worships serpents and has many high profile members. ( Kinda like Scientology ) Curious to see how this fits into Cobra and am suprised they have gone to that already considering we have gotten next to nothing on Cobra itself.
3. This book has a new artist one; Sergio Carrera, who is new to me but is doing a Fuso-esque job and I like it. Clearly this book is meant to set a tone and they have maintained it, in my humble opinion.

Not really digging the new artist. I understand they’re trying to stick with a ‘Fuso look’, but I wasn’t big into his style to begin with. The concept and approach to this title using the GI Joe liscense but in a completely new and mature way is what I’m digging.
