It’s really simple: This is a solid, maybe you can/wanna call it classic, Batman Story. Nothing here is really new or done better than before, but on the other hand nothing is done bad or wrong. I like the look of daniels batman, the splash pages are very cool. To see Gordon and Bullock in Action is nice, but the dollmaker won’t become my favourite villain anytime soon, even though he looks creepy.
If your a batman fanboy you don’t make a mistake by pulling this, everyone else should simply read snyders batman, it’s the better book.
