iFanboy Mini #99 – Jeff Lemire at San Diego Comic-Con 2008

Show Notes

Jeff Lemire is one name that, if comic book fans haven’t heard it already, they will soon. His critically acclaimed Essex County Trilogy is just wrapping up and he his work will soon be seen over at Vertigo Comics.

Josh Flanagan talks to Jeff about finding success, his writing process, and wonders what kind of black magic this Canadian used to get Americans to cry about hockey.

  2. Great interview Josh! I love to see the Essex County books supported anywhere.  Jeff was awesome when I met him earlier this year and even more so in San Diego.  Can’t wait to see his new stuff!

  3. I had ZERO awareness of Essex County.  But, that’s when this show really pops.  Great interview, Josh. I’m going to go pick this up straight way. Are there any other teases from San Diego, you can offer up? In terms of indie creators and their wares?
