  1. After Hickman’s amazing start on this series followed by Humphries pretty average run, Fialkov has been a great addition he’s certainly making this a series worth reading again.

Plus Di Giandomenico’s art is nothing to complain about either!

  2. This creative team have really won me over. Humphries really didn’t shine here to the extent he usually does. Looking forward to a good run.

  3. Yeah, what y’all said. I was excited for this new team after hitting a bit of an interest slump once Humpries took over entirely and the art was kind of a crapshoot of consistency, but I had no idea we were in for all this.

I keep wondering if this is really the epic return to bombastic form this book hasn’t had since Millar & Hitch’s “Ultimates 2” or if it’s just pushing all the right fanboy buttons, probably a little bit of both. And Ultimate Kang & Monica Chang’s entire rescue team, I was surprised no one had used these characters in the Ultimate U’s 13 year history…

  4. I finally got around to reading this issue and HOLY CRAP! There’s some big stuff going on here! It’s like all bets are off, anything is fair game, no character is “safe”. I wonder if this is the beginning of the end of the Ultimates comic universe.

  5. Just as I was starting to lose interest, Fialkov breaths new life into this title!
