  1. I’m thankful to have JSA heavy hitter Jerry Ordway on these final issues. At least we go out with an artistic bang that pays homage to the team’s history.

    • Unless the solicit lied again. DC’s been doing that a lot lately. That place must be chaotic as hell the last couple of weeks.

  2. That cover is amazing. I cannot wait to read this. I hope they’re not too wrapped up in continuity. There could be a really sweet story here as we lay JSA to rest for a while.

    • Totally with you on all accounts misterckent. I’ve been picking up the last couple issues of this, and the artwork is very solid, and I’m sure I’ll be shedding a bit of a tear to see these characters go (for a while at least).

  3. That cover is great. That Green Lantern costume is horrendous.

    • are you kidding, thats easily the best costume made to look like an item carried by the hero ever. Far superior to the the cap costume where he looked like a shield (he just looked kinda fat, but at moments had a Mogoesque quality), and the god awful green arrow costume that looked like an arrow. (it looked like a big green pointy penis). Rick Johnston reports Spider-man will soon adopt an all web shooter costume after spider island but it will only be one issue with a day and date toy.

    • The question: Has there ever been a redesign as horrible?

    • I thought the exact same thing as Conor when I saw this issue on the stands today.

    • The only good thing from this issue was that it may have gotten Alan Scott out of that hideous lantern costume.
