    I came late to this FG: ZEITGEIST party, but I’m real glad I got here. I saw that it was being written by Eric Trauttman (who did a great job on my late, beloved CHECKMATE) so I picked up issue #1 – and really dug it! Trautmann skillfully fuses the 80s Flash Gordon movie continuity with the WWII era Flash from the old serial strips, and it’s a real fun read, with pretty art. Issue #2 only made me love it more. I am on this title for as long as it goes!

    I thought the writing was good, the story was very good, but the art was inconsistent. Some of it was beautiful, but other times proportions were off and it looked rushed.
