  1. The last issue was fantastic. If this issue is good, too, I’m willing to bet the whole arc will be awesome.

Also, was I the only one surprised by how well Daniel Way handled X-Force?

  2. DDP- Agreed!!

  3. There’s times when I’ve bought Deadpool and thought,”I spent 3 bucks on that?!” and others where it’s great. Dead has been good.

    • Mileage varies. I’d say Daniel Way is usually at least mediocre. In fact, I’d say consistancy is his biggest selling point.

His worst issue, to me, was #27. A very dissapointing ending to what I thought was going to be a promising arc.

  4. Important note: The price went back down for this issue. Makes the higher price of the last one less off putting, especially since it was giant-sized.

  5. You know, I love this current arc, don’t get me wrong but Dan Slott would absolutely KILL IT if he got to write this series to.

  6. With these last two issues, Deadpool has taken a complete 180 in terms of quality. It has gone from a book that I have been on the verge of dropping for about a year to one I am now fully enjoying. Glad I stuck around

  7. This one didn’t do much for me. It was just a lot of setup and some weak interactions. Really a letdown compared to the last issue and my hopes that it would sustain that throughout.

  8. This was another back to back good issues for DP and I also gave it a 4 like everyone else. I like the price tag and I like the paper quality as well.. but seriously; the artwork was great and I liking this story and the way DP has really contributed to this with some planning of his own. He is showing his true tactical skills as well as his silly side at the same time, loads of fun~!!
