Inside wrist claw is stupid. So are feet claws, X-23. Nipple claws are where they need to go with this.
Yeah, I’m not sure why I’m buying this. But every week… there it is on my pull list.
I didn’t know that much about Daken before The Dark Avengers, but I’ve really enjoyed this book so far. His f’ing around with the FF and Bullseye is great. Also, I don’t feel like the Dark Avengers group dynamic is really explored in their main book. It’s mostly about Norman pulling the strings and the rest of the avengers feel like they are scenery.
@Viktorr The inside claw doesn’t seem like it would be very functional. His claws would be great for cooking a large pot roast. Although, it would have to be a dark pot roast.
@Viktorr – don’t worry. Steve Rogers is coming back with nipple claws in the Secret Dark Nipple Claws War event.
I’ve not been a huge fan of the "Dark Reign" titles– and generally avoid any Marvel books with "Dark" in the title right now. What’s more, my feelings on the character of Daken have ranged from indifference to disgust.
However, I decided to try Dark Wolverine, picked up the first couple of issues, and just read #77. And all I can say is: WOW. This book is really, really good. I’m shocked to find myself saying this, but the last few months, this has been the best X-book on the stands. And issue #77 today was the best of the lot so far.
Just outstanding. At least, the writing is– the art does nothing for me– at least nothing good.
Didn’t think anything could make me enjoying reading Daken. But Mr. Way is doing just that.
I gotta agree I really enjoy this series, dont get me wrong I can NOT wait for the bonus Old Man Logan issue but Daken is quite exciting especially the FF/ Osbourn chess game he’s playing
To my utter shame, I’m actually enjoying this book. Dakan is one biracial/bisexual badass and I love how he’s manipulating everyone.
Shame this isn’t getting more attention, it’s a heck of a fun read.
This is better then Wolverine Origins ever was.
We’re all in the same boat here. I don’t want to like this book either, it’s Daniel Way, it’s a stupid tie in, and I previously though Dakken was the dumbest idea since x-23. Yet every month I seem to enjoy reading this… Go figure.
Daken is so much more interesting at this point than Wolverine. I hope this stays his book for some time. Creative team is great. I really do like the art. Some of the panel transitions are really nicely done. Best book Marvel is putting out right now. And I fully expected to hate this.
