  1. I think I like this cover. Not great and not a fan  of this version of the Huntress’ coatume but still…

  2. I’m digging the cover too, but there’s nothing that’s really hooking me to this series.  The first arc was kinda forgettable.

  3. Great cover, and I’m glad we get some stuff without Benes on it. I’m not TERRIBLY into this plot anymore, but Simone’s a writer that I’ll give her a shot no matter what.

  4. Alvin Lee on art? On one of DC’s best books? This is terribly amazing, I can’t wait to flip through this.

The first arc of this was great, as it continued many major plot points from the previous volume while being progressive and not being a slave to the past. Probably my most anticipated book of the week.

  5. I think I like this because it reminds me of Middleton but the composition isn’t strong like Josh’s work.

  6. I didn’t notice Benes was gone, that’s the biggest reason I was picking this up.  Bummer…

  7. Alvin Lee was like the perfect Street Fighter artist, even though Chamba’s stuff is amazing too; looking forward to seeing how this is drawn.

  8. Hate to bring the mood down, but this book is on the bubble for me.  The first few issues had some good character moments and dialog, but not enough to keep me entertained.  Maybe my expectations were too high, but I expected more from Gail.

  9. I agree it’s not yet on par with the first run, but I’m gonna stick with it. I just love these girls too much to sit this one out. I trust in Gail.

  10. I don’t know who Alvin Lee is? *ducks for cover from nerd rampage* But, after the inconsistant, half-good & half-bad artwork this series has had (due to multiple artists) I hope he’s good!

Simone’s awesome writing deserves better than "half-good" art.

  11. A little disappointed in Alvin Lee’s stuff in this, not up to par with this Street Fighter work, not sure why I didn’t realize that in the store when I flipped through it.  Not really sure what’s goin on story wise, not a very good ‘jumping-on-point’ kinda issue this one, but Dinah does look good in white.

  12. This was decent. I like Lee. I just wish he could’ve done the entire issue. Those couple fill-in pages were rough.

  13. Lee’s art was nice, too bad the other artist wasn’t. Sucks that such a well written book keeps having this uneven artwork (did I say that already?)

I’d rather have a book delayed a week or 2 & have decent art, than on time if half the book looks like crap.
