  1. I’m still enjoying this book. It sucks to see the pulls on this getting lower and lower.

    • I just hopped on this book at issue #0. Got the first trade though and will be getting the 2nd one in February. Then I should be all caught up.

    • I’ve enjoyed Batwing thus far, but fear it may be headed to the chopping block soon (based on the creative team switching and its charting on the Top 300 each month).

Regardless, I’m here for the long haul and I look forward to each issue!

  2. Batwing is totally undpredictable. You have no idea what will happen from issue to isssue. The tone is bit more schizo that way compared to Winick’s initial arc, but I dig it.

  3. Not a huge fan of Fabian Nicieza to start with.

The art was sloppy and inconsistent.

The villain was dealt with fairly quickly, meaning that his promise as a ‘main event’ baddie might be harder to deliver upon.

In short, not my favorite ‘Batwing’ issue. May be a jumping off point for me.

  4. There have been a few hiccups in this series but overall its been an interesting unique book. It has a darker tone then most DC books and because the character doesn’t have 60 years of back story the story can genuinely surprise you. It would be a terrible decision for DC to cancel this book.

  5. This wasn’t the best issue in the series but I am still enjoying it overall.
