  1. How could it be worse than 90% of humanity dead and Ultron controlling Earth?

  2. Sooooo, this is where Age of Ultron goes all Flashpointy on us . . ?

Seriously, though, if there is no Pym (and thus no VIsion) doesn’t that wipe out Dissembled and pretty much everything after that? Did Bendis just retcon is entire run?

    • Didn’t he revert all his changes already by the end of his run? Only Dr. Voodoo remained dead.

    • Well, I was thinking along the lines that if there was no Ultron, there’s no Vision, no Vision, no marriage with the Scarlet Witch & no imaginary children, thus Wanda doesn’t go bonkers, so House of M doesn’t happen, so there’s never a “no more mutants” moment, which, I presume, would change Scott’s entire attitude towards The Phoenix and therefore the whole nature of Avengers vs X-Men . . ?

Or maybe Wanda goes nuts for some completely different reason and everything ends up in the same place anyway.

Me, I sense some retconing on the horizon . . .

    • I miss Brother (Dr) Voodoo! What a great unappreciated run by Remender.

  3. Susan just letting that thug Wolverine kill a good friend doesn’t make sense…something is afoot.

    • Think of her children, husband and brother… oh yeah and the rock dude. I asked my girl if she would let Wolverine kill the guy responsible for the death of our family and everyone else even if that person is a friends of hers…she said yes.

    • Ultron killed half of Humanity, including her children, her brother and her husband. Her life was ruined by Ultron. The only sensible course of action is to kill off Pym and pray the world doesn’t go to hades in a hand basket.

It is a definite moral dilemma though.

    • Not if you have a time machine and a lot of other options. Sue could have gone back and saved her kids. She could have done a lot of things other than murder.

  4. Fun alternate reality hijinks! I’ll have another, sir.

  5. This isn’t even about Ultron anymore…. this series was never about Ultron….

    • I agree that this was never about Ultron — Marvel simply didn’t want to advertise this as a Flashpoint type alternate reality when that was clearly the direction this was going all along. It’ll be interesting to see how much continuity gets reshuffled in issue 10.

    • If Marvel uses this event to change the continuity of their whole publishing line going forward that would be very disappointing to me. So I’m hoping any comparisons to Flaspoint are in error. I’ve assumed this is more along the lines of an Age of Apocalypse event.

    • For those complaining that Ultron isn’t in this enough I have a question.

How much of the Age of Apocalypse actually focused on Apocalypse?

    • Then again if this is a Flashpoint style reboot and they wipe away everything since Avengers Dissasembled I might start buying marvel again.

    • They are not going to scrap their continuity, only DC would be dumb enough to do something like that.

  6. AoU is an average quality book but i’m enjoying like a popcorn movie. It’s odd to think that Ultron hasn’t even made an apperance when were almost at the end of the series.

  7. Good issue but… It felt kind of, I don’t know… Light? I finished the comic and was disappointed there wasn’t more. Maybe I just really enjoyed it and it left me begging for more.

So is Colonel America Steve Rogers or Fury? The promotion and eye patch says Fury but the hair and stamina say Rogers.

  8. Why do Wolverine and Sue fight when the Defenders arrive? In particular, I would have thought Sue would have wanted to talk to Ben. Surely they expected things to be different..?

I didn’t like this as well. Just explain it to them it’s the Marvel U stranger things have happened then people time travelling. But not they have to have a fight.

  9. Im enjoying it for what it is, but Im glad every comic for 3 months is not a tie in.

  10. i don’t mind the story…but why didn’t Pym Grow Small then Logan jumped on his back. I don’t think the fight would have been that quick but overall i guess its ok. I just want to see whats the point of the story if its no impact the the 616.

Dissapointed in this issue after really enjoying the last issue. But in till end now. Oh I do hope it’s a flashpoint style retcon / reboot thingy then I’ll get to hear both Marvel and DC fans whining about how the old universe was bettter.
