This one was meeh for me… the art was pretty awesome IMHO. Ok, so Lex’s suit is kind of bad-ass looking and all, but he’s punching him with his armored suit in one panel, and the next panel his arm is made of a force field?!?
Hrmmm, ok, then Superman literally flies down from the sun and smashes him square in the chest and he isn’t dead why? Come on! The guy should be liquid instead of “just a bit dizzy.”
Lex detached the arm. You can still see the arm holding Supes in the panel. Supes has very good control. Otherwise he’d be killing everyone he punches (super powered or otherwise). And it’s comic book physics.
I thought Superman Unchained was going to be the first New 52 Superman book worth reading… but thanks to Tony Daniel Action has become a joy once more! Still didn’t care for the backup though.
