April 1, 2013 7:03 pm I borrowed the previous issues from a friend and it's really frustrating! Bendis has so far, in 3 20 page issues, revealed the following: -Ultron took over the world, all heroes beaten, most killed. -Ultron is trading with low levels villains. -Heroes have a plan (doesn't start till issue 3), to get someone in and get more intel. -Vision is somehow involved. There have been some other stuff here and there, but they're too insignificant at the current time. Decompression can be ok sometimes if it helps build up an atmosphere, but right now, all it's doing is making it feel like 60 pages that coulda been done in 40. Just my opinion.
March 27, 2013 12:51 pm Actually, in Avengers Hickman clearly demonstrates that Spider-Ock is the one he's writing (the scene with Canonball and Sunspot, for example). This only happens after the first arc though, as the spidey in the first 3 issues is Parker. As for Bendis, ya...it just seems like he doesn't care..way to respect your colleagues there...
March 22, 2013 11:50 am Not only that, but when you put all the issues together you notice that each one has its own unique colour (including a back cover that's always empty of anything except said colour). It does make me wonder how long they can keep this going? How many colours are there, anyway? :)
March 11, 2013 2:02 pm Avengers/Thunderbolts was fantastic! Unlike many of those "crossovers", Busiek was familiar with writing both teams, and so all the characters sounded like themselves. I was actually rooting for the Thunderbolts through the whole thing. I know it's not the best analogy but classic Thunderbolts (as in the Busiek/Nicieza eras) was kinda like The Shield (the TV show) of Marvel comics, where you would root for the "good guys" even when they're doing bad things and you don't wanna root for them.

February 20, 2013 3:24 pm Fantastic Art, I like that she toned it down for the Death piece
January 28, 2013 1:32 pm I'll just say it: This mini-series was better than the whole AvX event! There..I said it
