May 12, 2010 1:39 pm I love the covers of SHED, but the interior pseudo-anime style art is killing me.  Everyone looks super young (even Aunt May) and have goofy eyes.  Bleh.
May 3, 2010 2:42 pm WTF is up with Batman's leg on this cover?

WHOA!

April 30, 2009 11:01 am I don't know what the gripe is about.  I thought the issue, and the series so far, has been great.  And the ending of this one, plus the look on Norman's face was awesome.

With Slott being up front saying that Mutant Zero is someone even non-comic nerds would know about, I'm going to put my money on Jean Grey.  The "dark side" comment, the visual clues, et al.

Maybe Jean Grey is split in twain?  Good half as Mutant Zero, Bad Half as that dominatrix chick in Uncanny at the moment.  Funny that book also got a red-hair tease in a similar fashion to this one.

Been good so far.  Doesn't bother me that Spidey isn't around.

What bothers me is Jackpot.  Hate her all together.  If she had some other motif, I'd probably like her.  But the 777 on the belt and the bell bottoms?  Super lame.  Hell, maybe it's just her costume that bothers me.

And the fact that she's never really been explained to us yet.  Is she MJ?  Isn't she?  If so, when did she get super powers (agility, apparent super strength, ability to take a punch from that sinistersixskrull, etc)?  If not, why the hell the strong ties to MJ -- just to mess with us not in a fun way but in a entirely stupid manner?

Oh yeah, liked this issue regardless.  LOL.

I bag n' board because I thought that was what you were supposed to do with comics.

Can't stop now.  OCD says so.

August 28, 2008 5:40 pm Eh, I don't think it is a device to be revealed later.  It was intentionally blatant in this issue.

Just read this and .. WTF?!?

Does Peter remember the whole deal with Mephisto?  A couple pretty blatant "Huh?" moments when he seems to be clearly mentioning it.  His convo with Norman Osborne, his mentioning of what "we" had done, the "now no one knows who I am -now-".  So, apparently he is aware of his circumstances.

Are they trying to fix OMD?

Theory:  Peter AND Mary Jane are both aware of the situation, that's the deal that MJ made with Mephisto with the whisper at the end of OMD.  But they've agreed to stay apart.  Whatcha think?

August 27, 2008 4:40 pm I really wanted to pick this up today, but it was such a heavy week.  Next week hopefully!
