October 6, 2011 10:12 am This book is a surprise for me. I didn't think I would like it, but I think I'm on board for an arc or two now. Good stuff. Only minus is it's hard to believe that he could fight with the injury that he sustained.
August 29, 2011 2:04 pm I, too, hope it is successful. I hope they have good stories to tell and will let the writers tell them. I prefer DC, but I'm tired. Tired of the constant resetting of the table every couple years. I'd really like to get my comics digitally, but I just can't bring myself to spend $3 for something so ephemeral. If they offered me a coupon I could take to my local comic store when the trade comes out though, that might be a win win scenario for everyone. One things for sure, everything's going to look different in a few years.
August 27, 2011 10:05 pm Kind of hoped that they would set the JSA up on a different earth (thought they might actually be the only ones left on the current DC Universe, how interesting would that have been). Gives them the opportunity to make the team ups mean a little more when they happen. Now the biggest question left for me is where is Wally? Would they put him on Earth 2 as well? With Donna and some of the other missing Titans? Will anyone know about the old DCU?
January 12, 2010 7:51 pm So...the folks that forced Raimi to include Venom have now run him off and will reboot the franchise?  Maguire was good, didn't care much for Dunst as MJ, but Raimi had an artistic vision for the first two films that will be missed.  I'm more than a little worried by this.  Hopefully they will get actors and a director who have a strong vision of their own.  Time will tell.
October 29, 2009 10:49 am Is that Bug from the Micronauts in Guardians of the Galaxy?  Talk about a blast from the past.
March 31, 2009 9:40 am Well said.  I have many of the same concerns, but primarily, what happens to Wally.  He's the DCU character who I have identified with most since I was reading comics.  The thought of him being downgraded ala Kyle Raynor leaves me cold.  Thank god it's Johns who is doing this.
September 29, 2008 9:32 pm This seems very short sighted.  As a librarian, we needed more.  More books in the line and more time to get them into people's hands.  It was a great idea to start the line, but I can't believe they only gave it 18 months before they pulled the plug.  I'd really like someone there to explain this and poor sales is not good enough.  If they really wanted to make this work, they had to know from the beginning that it was going to take longer than this.  I hope this isn't the case of them giving up on the female readers because that would really be depressing.  They are out there but you can't expect them to know about this sort of thing immediately.  Incredibly frustrating.
February 29, 2008 6:52 pm Nice to see things converging, too bad it didn't happen 25 issues ago.  Yet I'm still buying the thing.  I'm glad Piper's importance was revealed, but shouldn't we have had clues about that before?  It was quite a revelation to find out why he was important in just these last two issues.  I believe a little foreshadowing was called for here.  I will not be buying the next weekly, I think it's time has come and gone.
February 29, 2008 3:28 am Nice to get an idea where this is all going.  I suspect this might resemble what Johns did with Black Adam dividing the team earlier.  Some of these heroes are going to leave the team soon, one way or another.  I'm enjoying it, but I'm ready for some action as well.  Wonder how or if it will tie in with Final Crisis.
