April 16, 2013 5:07 pm On the media side of things I am genuinely gutted that John SIntrus and Word Balloon haven't been nominated in Best Comics-Related Periodical/Journalism. I have to admit if it wasn't for him I wouldn't of discovered so many fantastic Artists and writers and spread outside my Marvel sandbox. His work in creating an archive for the ages of creator interviews is unsurpassed in the industry and should be acknowledged.
February 18, 2013 3:17 am Was it just me or did anyone else think axel was being set up as a potential sex predator with his interactions with carol and then "bang!" my girlfriend hasn't read the books so doesn't think the same as me and didn't see that line of story coming. It certainly leave us with enough variations for surprises for everyone well played Mr Kirkman. Well Played
November 9, 2012 6:32 pm Franken-castle took me about a week and £250 to put together (and lots of late nights/ putting off work!) My favourite part of the whole thing was actually learning to do the latex stiches and and scar /staples. God bless youtube for quick make up lessons and how to make foam armor! I originally wanted to do the new cable costume (hence the robotic arm) but I didn't have enough references yet. Franken-castle definitely came out better than expected though and I ended up winning £100 costumes contest and I'm still in the running to win another £250 next week. boom.
September 14, 2012 4:52 pm yup she did. his arm was never flesh since first being infected so Forge may of built him a new one. Plus hes wearing an eyepatch which is covering what was his techno organic eye.
April 25, 2012 2:47 pm "sigh" Read the series then make a call on weather it was the right move or not. I for one thought whilst it wasn't the strongest work it certainly allows for "Sam Jack" fury to enter the 616 proper. They are simply trying to give the millions of cinema viewers an opportunity see a familiar face and ease them into the Marvel U proper. Also.... 3hours till I get to see the Avengers in the UK!!!! Booyaa!!
November 11, 2011 8:52 pm okay team heres the rundown. Skarr= son of hulk (see the last 30 issues of Incredible Hulk) Wolverine= Gorgon (wolverine bad guy written by Mark Millar and drawn by john rotima jnr in Wolvie 20(ish ) to 28 a few years ago. Improved even more by Hickman in the Secret Warriors series Ms Marvel= Superia (recent New Avengers) Spider-Man/Scarlet Witch both from the recent Osborn Series written by Kelly Sue DeConick Hawkeye= Barney Barton (clints brother from the recent hawkeye limited series blindspot) Hydra "Character". Viper AKA Madam Hydra as shown in Secret Avengers. A tonne of continuity going on here and very respective of whats been before. Its all there you just have to know where to look. Much respect Mr Bendis
July 23, 2011 9:38 pm ok. I have observed this bord for the last 8 years. my comments are few and far between. But Jeph Loes and Steve Skorce drew me into comics with Cable 19 (1995). I watched the animated series and decided to walk into a comic book store in Hamilton,New Zealand (Mark 1 Comics) and the stand out image was of Cable being dominated by his son (genisis/ Taylor , I didnt know it yet) thanks to that I have been drawn into Marvel for the last 16 years. spent a ridiculous amount of money ( the curreny conversion is not favourable) on Marvel comics and loved every moment. So on my 32 birthday when this is onounced I take the first writer of any comic book I have ever read plus a gamebreaker like Ed McG, I have to say Im pretty happy. Im currently in the UK for the next few years but will still order this through my local CBS in NZ to send to my parents house because this means alot to me and my involvment in comics. Cable was also one of Ed's break out comics. I think it was Cable 58 with joe caey or rounda about. Next thing you knew he was working with Loeb over in Image for Leifields Mr Majestic and then Superman.

So long story short this will keep me in comics.
Hey i may be one guy but across the board it may ad to many.
Thnak you Marvel and Jeph and Ed. I look foward to the experience.
April 27, 2011 6:25 pm Sort of a tangent but I needed to say my piece
Just saw Thor today in the UK and have to say I havent walked out of the cinema witha  smile this big in a loooong time. Whilst it was pretty much by the numbers I felt it was the perfect Marvel Thor from the Kirby Influence in the set design to the human (godly?) emotion that was conveyed by the lead characters with their realtionships being pitch perfect.
Look at the score on rotten tomatoes it's going through the roof! 95 % as of right now! I know this doesnt nessacerily lead to a big box office total but Its pleasing this isnt just another fanboy love in.
Unlike iron man 2 shield didnt feel crammed in and there were plenty of easter eggs for the Merry Marvel marching society to enjoy.
The 3d was subtle and not overpowering (unlike the pirates of the carribean trailer before hand)
Honestly I cant wait for Cap and the avengers.
Never in my life would I have thought Marvel could get it all togeather like this. These are great times for all Comic fans
February 23, 2011 12:17 pm @ActualButt Blink was ressurercted (more like retreieved from her blinky dimension) in the pages of the last volume of X-Force by Selene (Necrosha story arc) and went on a villianous rampage seeking revenge on the x-men for leaving her to be lost at the end of the Phalanx Covenant. And in one of the recent " X-Men To Serve and Protect" there was an encounter between her and Emma which left her future wide open
