Name: Shannon Clark

Bio: having always known many serious comics collectors but not being one myself I'm getting back into comics - mostly have trades and am trying to catch up from what I missed from the 90's and first part of this decade (Sandman, Lucifer, Fables, 100 bullets etc - I'm really far behind on everything)I am also the co-founder a startup focused on building real physical things from digital assets - we primarily work with game companies but are open to working with other IP owners (such as comics publishers). We make a wide range of physical, collectible objects.

I’ve loved The Unwritten from the very fist fantastic issue but with Issue #5 I think the series is really…

A short one-shot (I think) story featuring the 10th Doctor. The writing was good (though the story a bit short)…

January 18, 2013 5:02 pm Congratulations to Paul and Ron! I'm already a fan of a bunch of Image books - can only imagine that they will keep getting stronger in the new year. Mixed feelings about the split from Graphicly but with their changing direction this seemed likely to happen and glad it was a mutual and friendly split. Does this mean a return to more video podcast content? iFanboy is responsible for me getting back into comics - and now I share my friendly local comic shop with Ron, though of late I haven't made it there on Wednesdays so pick up my books a day or two late most weeks)
January 25, 2012 8:52 pm One of the only series I've been reading since tracking down the first issue soon after it came out - and which I read first whenever it is on my stack. One of my favorite series of the moment. Back a few shows ago however you guys forgot to mention The Unwritten when you were talking about Vertigo series!
November 7, 2011 7:43 pm I've noticed that whenever you talk about Vertigo you seem to overlook my current favorite Vertigo title - The Unwritten (which I've been buying in issues since it came out and honestly is one of the titles that got me into buying comics weekly). Really great, creative and interesting and one book I read first on my stack in the weeks it is published. iZombie is another series that you don't talk about much at all - I bought it for the first arc but gave up - though it seems to still be building.
May 16, 2011 3:25 pm Castle is one of the best shows on TV at the moment - and I'm not just saying that as a huge Firefly etc fan. It features a fantastic cast, great writing (usually) and more nuanced characters than typical for mysteries/procedurals. Glad to see this type of tie-in support.
May 13, 2011 9:53 pm Human Target was among my favorite shows of the past few years (and one that even my non-comic book reading girlfriend - admitedly a bit more of a geek herself than she might care to admit - also enjoyed). I thought the second season wasn't as strong as the first - if I were to advise them I would suggest they deemphasize the season spanning metaplot stuff in favor of the core potential of the concept of the show (which as i uderstand it is a bit different from the comic it is based on) - the characters were fun, amusing yet also complex. I hope Human Target gets picked up by someone - seems to me like a perfect type of show for a new buyer such as Netflix to buy as an alternative to an standard network...
May 11, 2011 5:06 pm Human Target was one of my favorite recent shows - not too serious but really fun. Perhaps a good candidate for someone else to pick up? (Netflix?) seems like if done well it is a series that has a lot of ongoing potential - the basic premise is a strong one and has lots of room for ongoing episodes - though I agree that Season Two wasn't as a strong as Season One.
March 23, 2011 3:24 pm @conor  Ah glad I wasn't just imagining that I had seen it but didn't now
March 23, 2011 3:16 pm I saw this in my iTunes subscription but it didnt' download, now it isn't showing up at all and I don't see it - anyone else having trouble with their subscription to the iFanboy video show via iTunes?
February 18, 2011 6:50 pm This is one of the only Marvel books I buy and though I'm not as steeped in the Marvel Universe as others it is an amazing work (and will be a gorgeous trade). I do wish it was coming out more frequently but weeks when it shows up on my pull list it is among the very first books I read.
December 15, 2010 1:19 pm Hard is a bit of an understatement - impressively Google resistant bunch of questions - for what would be a fantastic prize so definitely worth some time trying but I suspect however much time I put into it my chances of winning are slim - even if my "superpower" is my ability to search things out on the Internet...
