December 1, 2008 5:23 pm The new releases list just went up on diamondcomics.com
November 7, 2008 11:19 pm Well, you sons of bitches did it... you made me buy the Proof TPB. You and the AC guys just keep going on and on about it, I finally caved in. It's coming in my next DCBS box. And I'm probably gonna like it. Damn you iFanboy! (and I'm gonna get the I Kill Giants TPB too when it comes out)
November 4, 2008 2:07 pm This Volume (just like all the others) is awesome! I'm glad that Ron loves it too and will be plugging it more. Funny this is, I hate manga but I just love this series! Adam is one of my favorite writer/artist out there.
October 27, 2008 6:04 pm I totally agree about Empowered. This was supposed to come out in September... I'm very excited about that it's finally here! Character developments and reveals abound in each volume, it's totally worth your $14 (or $7.47 if you got it from DCBS).
October 17, 2008 10:16 pm Yay! Cosmo is not a traitor! I was a little worried there for a while...

My dream band would be a Death Metal outfit... those of you who are into it might recognize some of the players I'm referring to. I'm also into B, C, and D level characters, so I'll limit my choices to those.

Lead Vocals (or growls): Terrax (I imagine him sounding like Erik Rutan of Hate Eternal)

Rythym Guitar: Wrecker (also doing vocals like Karl Sanders of Nile)

Lead Guitar: Hawkeye (sounding like Gary Holt of Exodus... I know, he's thrash but I love his playing)

Bass: Crossbones (with a dirty bass sound like

Drums: Flash (need a speedster to play those blast beats like Derek Roddy!)

I loved Waid's run Cap. I think Gruenwald's best period on the book started with the Bloodstone Hunt and ended just before Cap-Wolf. *shudder* Truly horrible stuff. You have to realize though that he wrote over 100 CONSECUTIVE issues of Cap (I believe 110). He was probably getting burnt out by the end. I think I remember reading somewhere that because he knew the 12-part Fighting Chance story was his swan song on the title, he wanted to leave with a bang by killing Cap. The whole armor thing came from the powers that be.

August 11, 2008 6:46 pm Awesome! When I got into comics, this is the first comic book I bought. The couple year's worth of issues around that time are some of the best Cap stories ever. Mark Gruenwald was firing on all cylinders and Kieron Dwyer's art was incredible. Anyone who knows me can tell you how much I like Cap and those issues in particular. (BTW, you guys read my email about the impostor being the Grand Director!)
July 16, 2008 11:26 pm I really liked this issue... good to see Vermin again. I always liked that character. Jimenez did an awesome job with this one. Guggenheim and Slott should be sole writers of this book. Although we've only seen one arc by Wells so far, so I might be eating those words later.

OH... MY.... GOD...

I never read Stray Bullets, so I have no idea how this compares. This is some of the most twisted shit I've read in a long time! Not at all what I expected it to be. And you know what? I'm liking it!
