I never do this, but I’m writing a review for once. That’s because, thanks to DC’s new digital policy, I…

September 13, 2012 1:36 am Didn't they just copy this from X-Men: The Last Stand?
September 13, 2012 1:23 am I think I'm done with Marvel. For now at least. Every book is just another Avengers or X-Men title and everyone is on every team. It's all their highest-profile characters and all of their third or fourth tier ones are just gone. There's no diversity. I may not like the quality of many DC titles, but at least they are all distinct and separate. Love the level of writer and artist talent they have. Just don't want these books. Too bad, too since I can afford to buy them all each Wednesday quite easily.
September 12, 2012 3:36 am I do digital because it's the best way for me to access books when they are released. Plus, they take up no space. I still do buy trades, but that's rare and only for things unavailable digitally or for stuff that has a really fantastic print version like Tale of Sand.
September 12, 2012 3:31 am That's why it's good to watch. This Collection Intervention has really made me question whether I need my Taco Bell Jar Jar cups anymore.
August 30, 2012 5:59 am I like shelves to be nice looking. I typically split by publisher and then by series or creator. I'll group each series chronologically, but I won't due alphabetical. Instead I try to group books of the same size together to create a uniform shelf. It's why I'll do a single series all hardcover or soft for consistency. I always have to rethink things when I get new books to add to the shelves. But it's so cool to see all of the Parker books side by side.
August 29, 2012 11:08 pm One really cool thing about this is that they should be able to use the sets from the movies for the show. Star Trek did this effectively.
August 29, 2012 12:29 am Get Sorkin to write it. The Comic Book Company
August 24, 2012 12:41 am I wish it was Nowhere Man, based on the TV series starring Bruce Greenwood. Man, no matter what you think of the business or the big two, you have to admit there are amazing artists and writers putting out fantastic books these days.
August 15, 2012 11:10 pm It's weird to see this end, but also good. Fifteen years ago I never could have imagined that The Avengers would be a huge part of Marvel agaih. For awhile in the 90s, there was just the one book. It was a dark time for anything that wasn't X-Men. It was so bad that Marvel handed the books off to the Image guys. The books came back for a bit after that and started to improve greatly but it wasn't until Bendis that Avengers became a BIG DEAL. Now we've got too many titles with this name. Fifteen years ago no one would have thought this possible. It's been a great run for Bendis and company, but it's time for new blood. Whether you love his work or not, you have to admit he did a helluva job with the book(s).
August 8, 2012 9:42 pm They could be going for a Favreau thing here. Getting an actor/director. It worked for Iron Man and Thor. Don't see this happening because I don't believe in this Justice League film. They boned Green Lantern, and Superman is unproven.
