July 10, 2012 11:59 am This series will be on my pull list, come October, for sure!
July 10, 2012 11:26 am All I can say is: BORING! It's another tired excuse to launch another number one issue that involves the X-Men & Avengers. In Marvel's eyes, they are shaking it up by having a group comprised of both teams to make one super-team! OMG, can this company come up with anything new? Wake me up when something original comes out from Marvel. I expect to have quite a nap!
April 22, 2012 6:13 am I collected the Impact issues of these characters and I actually just started buying some of the Red Circle versions this week. I'm glad that these characters are making another comeback, but with the cartoon-style artwork,. I just don't see The Crusaders as a comic I will ever buy. That style is one of the main reasons I stopped collecting comics 12 years ago..
April 10, 2012 9:39 am John Byrne is another who I've read many an article on his being difficult to work with and is out-spoken, but he still maintains a large fanbase, myself included. Your list is pretty dead on target, tho.
April 10, 2012 9:23 am I know some of these make characters more modern/edgy, but in some cases, it messes with a character's legendary look. On Wonder Woman, black, skin-tight pants and black jacket made her look more modern (not to mention sexy as hell, but I digress), but it changed her appearance too much. Zatanna's New 52 look works for her, but me personally, I miss the skimpy fishnet outfit look.
April 10, 2012 9:16 am I don't know the answer to any of the questions posed about the above panel, but I do know that panel is just absurdly hilarious.
April 10, 2012 9:12 am The George Perez and John Byrne runs on the title are my faves, both from Vol. 2. I might be in the minority on this, but I loved those sexy, skin-tight black pants WW sported for a while.
April 10, 2012 9:04 am I don't know who I'd cast for Cassie and Vlad. It is such a cool comic and whomever did the movie would need to capture the grittiness/campiness of the comic as well as Cassie's tougness/sexiness and Vlad'screepiness.
April 10, 2012 8:57 am My usual stack of Zenescope titles, Batman, Detective Comics, Batgirl, Justice League and Penny For Your Soul: False Prophet. On tv I'm watching Green Lantern, Young Justice and Big Bang Theory.
April 10, 2012 8:36 am That's just what Marvel needs. Another X-Men related title. I mean, while they're at it, why don't they add a few more Avengers and Spider-Man related titles to the mix? God knows they have a shortage of those characters every month. God, Marvel SUCKS!!!
