April 8, 2013 8:11 am I'm showing my age here ( a spry 34), but didn't DC do some kind of phone-in voting for something like this back in the 90s with the whole Knightfall thing?
April 3, 2013 12:21 pm Yes I reread, but I only do so in trades. And if I'm going to buy a trade, it has to be som.ething I know I want to keep rereading. But despite these constant plugs for digital comics in these articles, I don't think I will ever go digital.
April 3, 2013 12:14 pm I'm surprised that most people pay full cover price for books. If you're only reading a few titles a month, no big deal, but most people who read comics, I'm educationally guessing, read 10-20 titles per month at the minimum.
April 3, 2013 8:17 am I pay $3 for the 3.99 books at my LCS. I get 25 percent off of all books and trades. I'm surprised that I haven't seen anyone talk about discounts from their local store. Believe me, he still makes a profit. I did pay a $25 fee to be a "club member" but its a good discount. Does no one else have something like this at their stores?
April 1, 2013 4:52 pm I was really looking forward to this run, but now that changes have been announced so soon, I honestly don't think I care about this book any longer. To DC: you are making Superman irrelevant. But maybe that's the plan.
March 26, 2013 6:17 am As of now, I'm a "No" on this. The last arc tried my patience, just wasn't that interesting, and I'm two issues behind. It would be interesting to see the new art style, so we shall see.
March 25, 2013 6:15 pm I'm on the fence about purchasing this, but I did enjoy Mystery in Space from last year.
March 21, 2013 12:53 pm And no sales tax.
March 21, 2013 9:06 am Keep in mind, everyone, that these guys aren't leaving DC, just these titles. I'm sure their names will pop up regarding something big within the next month or so.
March 21, 2013 8:54 am Someone's views on gay marriage shouldn't factor into the quality of storytelling that Orson Scott Card could bring right now. And quality storytelling is what DC needs right now. I wouldn't ignore a book if it was good just because the author disagreed with me on some political or social issue. In any event, Fisch should be taking over. His style is the opposite of Morrison, which, with all due respect to Morrison, the character of Superman needs right ow.
